Company enjoys national recognition as reward for ongoing growth Fast-growing maintenance specialist Integral has joined the UK's elite of mid-market private companies. For the first time Integral, which recently revealed another record year of growth and profitability, has been included in the Sunday Times HSBC Top Track 250 which identifies the UK's biggest and best-performing mid-market private companies. The company came 206th overall in the annually-published league table which ranks the country's biggest mid-market private companies according to sales and operating profit. Earlier this year Integral, the current West of England Business of the Year, announced turnover had increased by £33 million (22 per cent) to £180 million, with operating profit rising 31 per cent to £7.2 million. And, despite the toughest recession in decades, Integral's annual report and statement of accounts highlighted forward orders at record levels including over £175 million in long-term PFI contracts. Joining the Top Track 250 means Integral ranks alongside respected household names including Manchester United, Harrods, Odeon and Selfridges, and it is one of only a handful of UK maintenance-providing companies to make the league table. | Bryan Glastonbury, Integral's Managing Director, said: "When I look down the list of companies who made it into the Top Track 250 I'm extremely proud to see Integral there among them and believe we fully deserve our place because of the sheer weight of our success against such a gloomy economic backdrop. "Quite simply we've seen our business go from strength to strength even during this recession, and customer growth meant we expanded our workforce to 2,850, which includes more than 1,600 directly-employed mobile skilled technicians spread across every UK postcode to provide rapid nationwide response." Mr Glastonbury said one of Integral's biggest strengths was its commitment to providing excellent customer service which had propelled it to its current market-leading client retention levels of 87 per cent. |
He added: "The criteria for making it into the Top Track 250 is all about growth and profitability, but we can only achieve these kinds of numbers by having the right workforce and management team in place to drive the company forward, and I sincerely hope everyone connected with Integral feels as much pride in the company reaching the Top Track 250 as I do." << Back
