Integral UK is one of the largest and most successful independent national providers of comprehensive property maintenance and energy management services have appointed a highly successful Director of Sales. Rob Barling joins Integral from Dalkia, where he worked for 14 years and was Sector Sales Director with responsibility for National Clients such as Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Royal Bank of Scotland. At Integral, Mr Barling will oversee the company’s national sales strategy for all services, including Manned Sites, Mobile Maintenance, Security Systems, Energy Services, Interior Services, Fire Prevention & Maintenance, Cleaning Services, Shopping Centre maintenance and Housing Services. Having previously worked in the 1990’s with Integral’s Managing Director, Bryan Glastonbury, at Colston Limited, Rob Barling will be based at Integral’s Bristol HQ. Mr Barling is now addressing the sales and marketing strategy to match Integral’s ambitious growth plan, with a key focus on Integral’s key sectors of Healthcare, Shopping Centre and Retail, Commercial portfolios and Energy Services. With the consolidation and formation of corporate super tankers such as Mitie, Carillion and others, Mr Barling sees this as an ideal opportunity to grab the middle ground with Clients who value technical service experts, privately owned business, fast decision making, with a passion to develop practical energy technical solutions. Maintenance providers have been guilty of complacency in how it retains grows and attracts Clients, leading many to think that solutions and maintenance providers do not appear in the same box. “For the past decade, I have been aware of Integral as a dynamic competitor. The company’s policy of employing and developing its own skilled technicians in every postcode area of the country is unrivalled. “That policy delivers superb results, excellent staff relationships, and unparalleled Client retention. Integral is also leading the Industry in expanding its operations to provide an enhanced self-delivery capability for all specialist maintenance services”, said Mr Barling. His plan for Integral is focused on developing the company’s strength in such sectors as Retail, Healthcare, Financial Services, and major Commercial portfolios. “I also recognise that Integral’s wide portfolio of specialist services, including Energy Management, provides every Client with opportunities to ensure regulatory compliance and cut costs. Our watch-word is ‘pro-activity’; Integral has the experts to enable us to advise Clients on ideas for cost-efficient solutions”, he added. “This is the first company I have encountered in this Industry that has a determination to deliver to its customers and to its employees”, he added. “It is vital that Integral brings Added Value Solutions to our Clients; it is not enough to just send an Engineer on time to service the boiler.” Mr Barling continues, “Integral has a passion for providing practical solutions to our Clients, offering both increased service levels and bottom line savings through reviewing Service Level Agreements, Capital Solutions and Energy Management”. ENDS 30th March 2010
