Carbon Steps - managing your carbon footprint
We are involved with many different projects in local communities throughout the UK, but here are some of our favourites:
Barnardo’sWe have an agreement with Barnardo's, whereby we mentor young adults from various types of disadvantaged backgrounds. This programme can potentially lead to full time employment, whether through the Apprenticeship schemes or as a direct employee. And through our joint venture with Barnardo's these young people have the opportunity to sample working life which often triggers them back into higher or vocational training.
INTEGRAL UK is now in Year Two of The Breakthrough Apprenticeship Scheme, designed to provide young people with placements in local businesses and help combat anti-social behaviour in deprived areas.
Our continued close links to schools and communities offer young students an insight in to what training schemes are available in the workplace, preparing CVs and interview techniques is so popular that the schools and colleges have requested we revisit each year.
Tools with a Mission continues to be successful as INTEGRAL UK donates redundant tools and equipment and computer equipment to impoverished communities throughout the world.
